The fact that this chef takes time to give praise to others, the "unsung heroes" at the White House shows his amazing character and love. I never knew there was a calligraphy department.

"apple salad is not a desert" - That's EXACTLY what I used to tell my mom when I was begging for some sweet and offered fruits instead. Finally, thank you.

To be told by the President of the USA "it's an honor for me, too" like that is quite awesome.

Give this guy his own netflix series where he interviews chefs who have worked for politicians and celebrities

This guy really won me over when he chose to highlight the people many never think about. He could have easily made this video all about himself and his own talent, seems like a really cool and very intelligent guy.

My mom ex boyfriend worked at a hotel in Texas that President Bush was staying. The hotel was catering after he was doing some speaking engagement and they were serving fancy food. What was fancy food, I’m not sure but Bush wasn’t pleased. He was like “where’s the tacos, the fajitas, enchiladas??Where’s the Tex-Mex food???” Mind you this was in San Antonio so he expected food what we’re known for

This jolly man ate his own glorious cake and said "It's okay"
Jeez, I don't have to taste it to know it will be wonderous. What a humble and amazing guy.

Things I learned: every menu is hand-written. That’s incredible!

This chef brings in so many good vibes. It even transcends the baking show to a more personal ambit. Props for that.

There's something about that raw batter that looks so much better than the finished cake
