Where this video starts is pretty much exactly where I started watching Fawlty Towers for the very first time ever, just from flipping through tv channels and happening upon the very end of the episode. I of course stopped when I saw John Cleese, and was within seconds laughing my ass off.

Imagine the character Basil was based on real hotelier who had a Hotel in the Torgey area in early 70s. Called Me Sinclair who Cleese and the Python team met while staying there while they were filming in the area for flying circus.
