Nuclear Reactor is the heart of any Nuclear Power Plant. It's a device wherein a nuclear chain reaction starts and is controlled. The reactors are either used for electricity generation or propulsion of ship.
Here, we will understand the complete working of a Nuclear Reactor along with its three core components i.e. fuel elements, moderator and control Rods.

An unclear reactor works by bombarding the fuel rods with neutrons generated by a neutron howitzer, the fuel rods act like a resistor against the neutrons generating heat, very similar to an element in a kettle. The neutrons generated in the howitzer are produced from high voltage accelerated through a partical accelerator. The high voltage is stepped up from the output power of the plant. Nuclear fission is an unclear way to explain how a nuclear reactor works imo.

What software did you use for this animation please?

How long do control rods last and where do they go once they are no longer viable? How long do they stay radioactive? Is Uranium renewable? I'm all about other sources of energy but lets not misinform people and say nuclear is "eco friendly"

In the shift to the uranium and plutonium yo the nuclear reactor why did they didnt used a grinded iron mix with welding rod boron nitrate to create heat and the waste laterial can be recycled to the iron

But how does it start?? The rods go in the water, blank blank blank blank, then fission begins. What happens to start the process? Why isnt fission happening as the rods are loaded or prepped?

at 4:08 it is shown as if part of the heated water is made into the steam which is used to produce energy, O.K., and part of it is going to the pump which makes the *heated* water go back to the core. Is there actually any kind of cooler which cools the water before it enters the core again?

Our Civilisation’s rejection of Nuclear power was a massive mistake, and the environment has payed dearly for it as we continue to rely on fossil fuels for our electricity

Why don't they just boil some water?

From where this neutron came at first? And how

I still don't get it, why doesn't a single pellet heat up on its own? Why does it require so many tubes and bundles?

I have already nuclear. How? At that time you were sleeping.
