I watched alot of videos trying to understand how a nuclear power plant worked this is the only one that went into great detail, with amazing explenation, Thanks!

Hey dude, sorry, but in fission process one Uranium atom does not split into two Uranium atoms. This is nonsense. Most commonly it splits into Barium and Krypton atoms, but other splits are also possible.

At 4:24 time stamp: the graphic should say 150 time higher pressure instead of lower to keep the water from boiling

Superb explanation. I learnt a lot. Thanks for all the hardwork

Well this is quite interesting. Tremendous work!

Baryon conservation is all kind of messed up in this one too. You can't split an uranium nucleus into 2 uranium nuclei. For the most part when fission happens it split to two asymetric (by mass, and nucleon distribution) fission product and some neutrons (function of incident neutron energy as well as the fissile material 1<x<4). Many element (and their isotopes) can be such a fission product (Barium-141 and Krypton-92 is two frequently mentioned example but it is actually a distribution with great variety) uranium 235 is definatelly not one of them.
It's a simple equation really, on one side you have 235 nucleons and an incident neutron total being 236, since, neither protons nor neutrons can be destroyed in such process in whatever configuration you get the nucleons on the other side their number's still has to be 236 all together, including the liberated neutrons and the nuclei of the fission products. It follows that 236 can not turn into 2 times 235 and another free neutron.

I'm a power island operator at a thermal power plant. Nuclear power plants are very new and unknown to us. What I'm curious about is whether there are LP and HP heaters like in traditional plants.

2024 ending and this is the best explanation

cool, so nuclear power plants are glorified steam engines

What has this subject got to do with reading and writing??

Most, but not all PWRs use fission, not fusion?

One uranium atom decays into two uranium atoms? What a stupidity.

Splitting atom to get two same atoms oh my.. Go back to school.

I LOVE NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS

BUT NOT IF THEY BUILD JUST LESS than 10% off the good efforts

It's NOT energy it's
force of might

?

Just think
HOW MANY STEPS you need to get the right angle shot for a triangle ▶️ of three sides at same lengths off a line

You and your atoms hahaha
