But there are some of the things that I hear from roofing contractors and from policyholders as to why it's actually not beneficial sometimes to hire a public adjuster.

It could be detrimental to your insurance claim they say.

Ok, let's be honest and talk about the positives and negatives of hiring a public adjuster.

I've been a public adjuster for 14 years and I could probably give you a lot more than what I'm going to give you in pros but being fair I'm going to provide you with some cons as well.

The reality is that sometimes it might not be suitable to hire a public adjuster but most of the time it is.

Wow! That was fantastic! I had a "small" fire in my garage almost a year ago. I claimed everything that was obviously destroyed, figuring I could clean up everything else over time. Here it is almost a year later and I realize I'll never get this stuff cleaned. I have literally thousands of pieces of material. Hope it's not to late to hire an adjuster.
