"If Christ is not risen, our faith is in vain" - This seems like a very foolish view of Christian philosophy. Whether Jesus was divine, man, myth or legend is not as relevant as the moral teachings. Universal Love for Humanity, Forgiveness, Redemption, Empathy, Charity, etcetera are all worthwhile, despite resurrection. Even scholars agree that early followers may have had a humanistic view.
