Whales Get Stranded on Sandbar and in Gator-Infested River

In one part of Australia, hundreds of whales got stuck on a sandbar. In another, they found themselves in crocodile infested waters. Both situations are leaving scientists perplexed. What they can agree on is that they’re all hoping the mammals will be safe, whether it is after rescue efforts or annual seasonal migration.
