After 16 years of marriage, I’m going through it and I absolutely can’t stand it

If u feel lonely I don’t think surrounding urself with however many ppl will ever make u feel not lonely.. I think it’s a way of thinking and maybe feeding some sort of addiction to suffering. Personally, I have moments where I do get sad bc I’m alone/lonely but like they said I take those time to self reflect sometimes that makes it worse but the only way out is thru. Most times tho I’m very grateful for the freedom I’m afforded bc I am alone. The possibilities are endless ☺️

"The cure for loneliness is solitude."

I fixed my loneliness by learning how to paint and going down the ‘Art’ rabbit hole. I also learned Russian and German. And I got into Mountain Biking. To me loneliness for a lot of folk is really just boredom. I also design family card and board games. SO much fun

Lessons about loneliness from someone who evidently has no idea what true loneliness is

I don't like hanging out with people anymore. I just need a cat, a TV and a laptop. Some food and beer in the fridge, and I'm set.

i'm an introvert. i have to work with the public, everyday, in my first career (27 years) and my new one (one year)

People and their nonsense DRAIN ME

I am very comfortable in my RV, going for a walk, a hike, fishing. I do have a fiancee - kinda..and i miss her. She went "covid crazy" - and when you are an environmental health and safety pro, i could not deal with the garbage and useless regulations and fake rules.

I was lonely and often depressed. I went to my doctor and admitted it. Got medication, met someone, got married, had kids(including adopting), split up. Lived with eldest kid. Iinvited ukrainians. Let different ukrainians live here. Had a relationship with the mum, invited her mum over. Now I'm the lest loneliest I have ever been 😂. I have 1 biological kid. 2 adopted. 2 ukrainian step kids. A step mum that speaks no English 😅.

Being lonely is tough and a justified reason to feel down. Try and get help to break out. If you can break out, be as fearless as you can. Expose your vulnerabilities. Share the brilliant person you are. Don't keep it to yourself 😊

It's still amazing that "screen time" can be limiting and make us feel lonely when this very screen time is mostly associated with social media.

Social media is actually not that social it seems...

I like how he looks straight at the camera in this.

I've always enjoyed my own company, I go weeks if not months without hanging out with others. I just keep myself busy with what ever interests me that day, but i will admit we still need each other.

If you are ever feeling lonely, just watch a scary movie. Trust me, you will not feel lonely for long. Your imagination will not allow it.

This video really resonated with me. Manolis Kellis' take on dealing with loneliness and reclaiming our freedom is truly empowering. I loved the part where he talks about "me time" and how changing our perspective from "need to" to "want to" can make all the difference 😊Let's embrace our 3D selves, exercise our freedom, and remember that we're never truly alone as long as we're comfortable with our own company. Thank you, Lex and Manolis, for this insightful conversation. It's a real reminder of the beauty in human connection and self-reflection.
