In order to access The LiDAR Auto-Scan you should make sure that your magicplan app is updated to the version 2023.11.0. The new Auto-Scan is only available on iOS devices equipped with a LiDAR sensor.

other than lighting, what other factors can affect the accuracy of its scanning, would help tremendously if there is a link or research about it since we're exploring the potential of the application in our dissertation

So you can make it 10x better: make it available for remote work with a customer. Make sure the customer gets the data and capabilities the owner of the app wants him to have and does not get the data and capabilities, he does not want to have. Like; I do not want my potential customer to have an easy way to search for competitors, but I want to spark his imagination. So I want your program to easily scan and transfer data to me. I want the customer to be able to play around, but not be able to give the results away to somebody else. I want an easy export into my furniture planning software.

I've read that the new iPhone 15 has an improved lidar sensor, by Sony. Is that true? Will it enable more accurate scans in the new MagicPlan update, so a separate lazer scanner tool is not needed to increase the accuracy?

I love animations of scanning where lines draw itself. Because sometimes clients think that i record video, but now they will see that i made work. Also it look much better with furniture.
