I just know that besides knowing nothing, REM remains my all-time favorite band & soundtrack to my life, (starting age 27) and when I watch this video, it makes me cry. Commenting again after 6 years as I teared up watching this video.
I am having a tough moment with my self image after having failed at some things and experiencing rejection lately and as the song started and I saw him, I was reminded of the raw beauty that we all, including me, have. His simple outfit and just him, as he is. I want to see myself the same way, as a fleeting beautiful "thing".
Made me want to clear my brain of such detrimental thoughts and just give it a dance in life when it gets tough like he does.
