That Haversack is awesome. I’ve had the same one for years, they’re low priced but man are they handy and super durable.

I have the same haversack. It's a great piece of gear and I have several of the swiss canteens like yours. I think it's perfect for a haversack. I sometimes carry two to four at a time depending on what I'm doing. They fit great in an M65 field jacket (one in each of the breast pockets and one or two in the haversack. They are a very good piece of kit!

1:48 That is a "Armee Feldflasche Modell 32" literal translation "Army Field-Bottle Model 32". The 32 indicates that type of bottle was first issued to Swiss troops in 1932.
When I attended basic training in 1986 I was issued a bottle + cup that looked very much like yours. We were one of the last years to receive them, a newer and better model was issued in 1986.

I also have this haversack, love it. Also really like the large Pathfinder haversack, unfortunately the large one is no longer available from Reliance Outfitters.

I appreciate you sharing your kit with us. Simple, effective, and most of all lightweight.. Everything you want in a day walk kit in familiar territory. In the summer, I always try to take along at least 1 liter of clean water with me. It gets lighter as I drink it down throughout the day. Keep up the good work with your videos.
