I think what makes this part so sad for me is the ending of the letter. the way she says, "yours, and nobody else's" that's pretty deep and hits the feels hard..

0:30 this is so deep they both know rick is toxic and she’s telling him hell never not be toxic and he’s better at controlling and manipulating people better than she is which would probably hurt a lot especially because throughout the series you don’t really see rick connect with anyone he connects with morty more than his own daughter and it’s shitty which makes him feel like there’s no meaning in life at all

Reminds me of Rachel and Bruce in Dark Knight. "The day will come where the city will no longer need batman, but the day won’t come when YOU no longer need batman." Bruce Wayne and Rick remind me of the inescapable prison of being someone dead to the world and only existing as a ghost.
