U.S. leads western countries in new sanctions against Russia

U.S. President Joe Biden announced new sanctions targeting Russia's economy, especially its military and aerospace sector, after the country’s invasion of Ukraine. Numerous G7 leaders followed suit, but NATO ruled out sending troops into Ukraine.
