Camera Strap Ring Noise, How to Stop it (Dampen it), DIY

As many of you may have experienced this rattling, clanking, jiggling noise coming from the camera strap connectors. The triangular (or circular) split ring hooks/eyelets keep rubbing against the metal lugs even with the plastic caps on. If you have Peak Design sets of anchors and links, you know that the anchor cord is too big to fit into the circular lug. In video, you’ll see how I remove or dampen the noise. There’s no need to remove the ring eyelet, no tape or anything sticky, or no rubber band. There isn’t much needed but a sewing thread (I recommend a strong “coats extra strong” sewing thread) and a pair of scissors.
