No one is answering the question of what the captain did wrong.
His boat is front loaded and in these conditions the bow needs to be free of excessive weight. Also he needs to adjust speed to ride the surf.

Parenting at its finest. Not one of those adult things showed concern for those kids... they just kept going, wow.

Well there’s A LOT wrong with this, but I’ll just highlight one: Lifejackets/vests do NOT work—if they aren’t properly fitted & fastened. The child at the bow of this boat is wearing a lifejacket that is clearly not fastened; the Captain and every adult on that boat- were directly responsible for ensuring this child’s lifejacket remained fastened at all times. Hopefully a lot of lessons were learned through this experience. They got lucky…this could have had a very tragic ending.

Hello everyone. I have a simple question. Why do they insist on placing this type of boat with the bow pointing towards the bottom of the sea? This boat could only sail on lakes with small waves, if any.
