Unfortunately what drives this trend is the outlandish costs in the West for dentistry and the unwillingness for dentists to try to bridge something that's affordable for people.

Imagine if a cosmetic dentist actually got on board with companies like this in order to create something that's both functional & affordable.

It's only a matter of time before someone is smart enough to seize the opportunity to use their education to make themselves some real money pioneering something that'll actually help folks.

In the USA even fixing 1 tooth is thousands of dollars. Not everyone wears these all the time, maybe just out with friends, but for $400-$650, ordering a full set of whiter teeth from an online company is not always a fail and it's far more affordable.

Not everyone can afford 20k in veneers. For some this is a temp fix that gives people some dignity.

Dental care is out of reach for most people since dental insurance won’t cover any of this stuff. You can’t even get braces covered as an adult. It’s absolutely ridiculous to be charged a down payment for a home to simply have good teeth.

And maybe one day I'll be able to afford the real work I actually need done. I agree with a lot of the comments here and now don't feel so alone anymore with my teeth issues

For the cost of one veneer in the States, I flew round trip to a tropical nation and got titanium bridge and a veneer plus a vacation.

Real people try to find cheaper alternatives. Dentist and Doctors try to make issues because they spent years of school and training then open a private practice with less customers because the real world, things are expensive to po folks...
They're still living rich and the rest of us are just trying to be happy with what we have.

The only thing this orthodontist should be reacting to is that people are deciding to go this way because fixing your teeth with a dentist is ridiculously overpriced. People are desperate they just want to have a beautiful smile, instead this orthodontist should be announcing how she would help people have a beautiful smile by lowering her prices.

This was such a great video! I'm the former National Director of Product Specialists for the original Snap On Smile company based out of NYC. It was a fantastic product and I'm SO happy to see it is still being used to change smiles and lives of patients with limited options. One of the saddest days in my life was when DenMat purchased our company and moved the operations from NYC to CA. They didn't take any of the team with the purchase, so that was the end of my dream job. I'm still working as an RDH in FL now. Thank you again for sharing this!!! I think this doctor should try them before she even talks about them. I bought them and couldn’t be happier. They fit like a glove and makes my smile look like $1 million. They were Pop On Veneers from the company Pop On Veneers.

You know if the dentist in the United States didn’t charge an arm and a leg to have teeth worked on people wouldn’t be forced to find other alternatives. Even with insurance it’s astronomical to have any dental done. Change that!!

I have had three friends who had horrible teeth recommend these snap on veneers. Not only did they change my friends lives for the better, I now use them and I cannot believe the confidence I finally got back. After my 40th bday I was super insecure about my teeth, hair, skin etc. These really helped and bc I would have paid over 6500$ for pretty much what may look super similar I was able to pay off my car.

I bought shiny smile snap on veneers and I love them!!! I didn't need to see a dentist. I did the impressions myself. The customer service was amazing. They even offer video service to help you do the impressions. They also look very natural.
