This is dry material, but so important to understand and you've done a great job explaining the basics of a very tedious and confusing topic. Well done mate. Folks take note, make sure you copy your design data folder, and template folder as shown in the video, and point your project file to the new location....then have at it.

Neil only you can make this sort of thing understandable and entertaining! You have a rare gift for explaining the difficult to explain! Keep up with the dry and boring because you cover things no one else will dare to deal with...ie Vault, Styles Manager,

seriously.... seriously... Thank you.. this is an obtuse interface for all of this stuff, and you just running through it quick like this means the world. Thank you. You always do such a good job of explaining these things. This 20 min video has just saved me days of future frustration, and that cannot be overstated. You're the best.

Have just got access to Inventor 2025 in a private company. If I hadn't watched your videos on templates and style manager I would have been pulling my hair out by now!! Great stuff.

Thanks Neil. Was using this but now much clearer. We've just gone from Inventor 2012 to 2018 and I somehow volunteered to sort out the Materials,    Colours,   Templates and Styles. And everything else ! ! ! Cheers.Jim

Hi Neil. This video is a huge help, and one that I have been waiting for from you for ages - I just wish I could have seen it 2 years ago, when I spent 2 weeks literally tearing my hair out over this crap. Once again, clearly explained, giving exactly the practical information we need to get on with the job and preserve our sanity. You are a rare beacon of light in the Inventor darkness. Well done again. Stephen

After going through a ton of tutorials and tons of Autodesk mindless explanations I found the light.
Niel wan kanobee, you are my cad-guiding source.
By the way I signed up to your Patreon link figuring I would get in at the bottom before you become rich and famous.
Cheers
