I think they are called dark for a reason and somehow I don't agree with using a small dark pattern. By the button example provided by you towards the end of the video, where you mention the interchange of the colours. Well, if I want to unsubscribe from a mailing list, I'd rather want to have the "Unsubscribe" button highlighted than the "Cancel" one. Prompting the user to do something is playing with their cognitive bias. An interchange of button won't harm me of course, but there is a high potential that one might click first on the "Cancel" than on the "Unsubscribe" button which is manipulating users into taking actions they might otherwise want to

I totally noticed this when I was watching an ad, and they give you the option to download but you barley see the “x” sign. And that shaming one too! Lol, I click “no I don’t want a great deal.” Lol can’t fool me

The fake download links really pissed me off as a student. Mockups got kinda expensive, so I had to download a bunch of free ones on free websites, and every single one of those sites had 5-7 download links. I know I probably downloaded a bunch of shit that shouldn't have been downloaded on my computer. The downside to being a poor student 😂
