General Grabber APT Review - Is it right for you?

Today we're doing a General Grabber APT Review. The General Grabber APT is developed to be a little less aggressive all-terrain tire to go on OE applications like the Nissan Titan and some other OE applications. A lot of newer trucks have these on and people were pretty happy with the APT's, and obviously people were interested in it if they've been asking and commenting asking for a review about it.

Let me know what you think of the General Grabber APT Review and tell me if you would run these on your vehicle?

have had them on my 4runner for about a year and they're great for the daily driving. Performed well in the winter as well and quiet

I just put these tires 275/60 R20 on my GMC 1500 AT4 and they rock. Very quiet and smooth. If you're looking for a all-around tire, these are worth the money.

I'm doing tire research and this is the 3rd video of yours I've watched today. Thank you for posting these informative videos.

Had the Continental terrain contact version (they own General tires) on a previous vehicle and I was very happy with the traction on and off road. Very quiet. Excellent handling in rain. Probably the best on-road all terrain tires.

Have a set of these on my 03 4runner. Drive it 60 miles a day and have about 25000 miles on the tires. These are very good in the rain, excellent in the snow, and great on everything else. Not hardly any wear yet, and so far very happy with them.

I had a set of general ht that were factory on my 21 Titan. They super smooth and had no balance issues. I have a set of the factory Toyo a26 on it now, and they don’t balance well. I’d be much happier with the general’s! I hate vibration! Looking for my next tire & this was my first set of generals I always heard they were cheap, but my experience has been positive. Considering this tire for sure

Love General. I went with the AT/X based on your recommendation. Took them off road last weekend on a hunting trip and man were they awesome! Cut through mud like a hot knife through butter. Thanks again!

I had a set of these on my ranger. I was really happy with them, I had 25, 000 in them when I traded the truck in and they were over 85% tread. If you want a cheap alternative to some terrain contacts these are hard to beat

The altering in the threadblocks is for resonance. That the noise does not become a constant singing noise.

I just put these on my 2020 F350 dually. A little firmer ride than the factory Michelin but more stable towing and just as quiet When I went looking I wanted something in the middle from hwy and a true AT tire this seems to fit the mold for me

Thanks for the review, I have a Wrangler JKU and will be switching from the BFG KO2's...don't need the road noise and it looks like the General Grabber tires cost a lot less and are 10lbs lighter per tire.

I ordered a set for Jeep XK Commander Overland to replace a set of Grabber AT2 which have run 66, 500 miles over ten years. Not worn out yet!

These came on my 2021 F150 that I ordered. I've got the heavy duty payload, FX 4 and max tow packages with 18 in rims. I thought the truck would come with the Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT tires. Funny thing is I was all set to dump the Goodyear's and buy these so I was very pleased to see them on the truck when I picked it up. They ride great for an LT tire.

Great channel! Please correct me if I'm wrong here, but the siping on these tires looks incredibly shallow... shouldn't siping run the full depth of the tread blocks rather than just like 20% of it? Otherwise when you wear just 25-30% through the tire there is ZERO siping left. Are the sipes that shallow on these or are they just sealed up on the edges of the tread blocks?
