That is the thing most prominently human, as the fundamental quality of actually being human: the affirmation of values. And I believe that Christ affirmed the values representative of God and God's essential attitude (if we could call such a thing an attitude): that mankind must serve to higher truths beyond mere physicality - those items presented to us in the immediate, and which we understand through their impressions, i.e. our perceptions - and be transcendentally affirmed through not only Christ's example, but through God's absolute manifestion in all things big and small. I imagine the likes of Myshkin to be not a stationary choice of mankind's rhyme and reason, but a moving and inspiring felt of strength and prosperity - that everyone can be like him if only they'd try. A sort of love never so easily governed by those who wish to control it.
