If that wasn't a Don Draper moment, I don't know what was. Buttoning the suit coat and Monty's goodbye pat on the back was pure Sterling Cooper.

I was a bit let down after Kevin left Yellowstone "the way he did".... Taylor gave us another reason to be excited. Landman is an achievement. It's that good. John Hamm and Billy Bob are simply magnificent!!!!

I got called on jury duty and they pulled the jury panel in for the vor dior, where they explain the basics of the case to the potential jurors. It was one group of overseas investors suing a consultant over the advice on where to drill and the investors had lost a bunch of money on dry holes, I think it was 20 or 30 million if I recall. I spoke up and told them I'd worked in the oil business and people lose that kind of money fairly often. No surprise they didn't pick me for the jury.

I’m usually only into comedies, but this show got me. Really well done.

I haven't quite worked out yet whether the dialogue is slick or like something trying to be slick. First episode is good.

The Ex-wife and daughter are too over the top. Other than that, it's a great show.

I had too much expectation to this series due to the awesome actors. Well. the first episodes were good because of the mistery, but now...
lets see how it evolve.

This is the next really big series if they play it right.

I wish the show had a bit more of these business dealings, but I get that it's mainly focused on the stuff Tommy has to deal with.

However, I absolutely see no purpose in wasting so much screentime on Tommy's ex/wife and daughter doing their own thing!

I've watched a few episodes of this show and I've got to say, the best part is the YouTube videos. The rest, well, not so good.

So, Don Draper's now in the oil business under the name of Monty.
How long until someone finds out? No Bert Cooper to cover for him this time.

Does anybody know what Tommy seems concerned about in not using a bank? He says, "I thought we didn't do that anymore" with the implication being Monty is self-financing, but they act like that is problematic and I don't get it.

I got to wonder what Taylor Sheridan gonna do next? He's the producer of Landman, Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown, and Tusla king. Point is the guy is all but printing money for Paramount at this point and I gotta wonder what he'll do next. A movie for one of the four above? A drama on Pipeliners? Border Patrol? Oilrig Workers? Nightclub Owner? I'm curious, it seems like everything he produces is gold so I wonder where he will take it and what it will do for streaming service tv cause hes definitely upping the competition.
