He's not a found father he's a revolutionary. He had nothing to do with the founding of our nation, only it's independence.

Thomas Paine is indeed a Founding Father. How can you say he had nothing to do with founding the nation? This very text had such a profound influence on the Revolution.

Found this accidentally, I knew who Thomas Paine was before though due to living in the town he was born, there's a statue of him here. :)

Thomas Paine is so marginalized by Historians due to his views on the Bible ! Not founded as numerous Fathers seemed to share this view .
