Can living near power lines cause cancer?

Well if power lines cause cancer than every power lineman would be dead. We work on energized lines daily and I don't remember anyone in our trade that got cancer from our job

Where I'm from, Old train stations that have electric wires - everything has surface rust, especially cars that get parked at the station frequently. Mind you this is over a long period of time.

i own a electric radiation meter i use for working on cars to find power drains and the electric meter on the house put out a bucket load of radiation so i would not want to have the living room or bed room near it. and yes smart phones put out lots of radiation when in sleep mode and boost way up when full on and lit up. they do send signals while in sleep mode.

The lines have large magnetic fields, wind carries particles through the fields, they become ionized. If your kids school is down wind of the lines then that school will have a higher cancer rate. If not down wind, then a normal cancer rate.
