I still love Star Trek and there have been three or four TV science fiction shows, also, that were great... But I have never seen a more lived in look, better verisimilitude, more 'domesticated' super science and better nitty gritty dirt-under-the-finger-nails human narrative as TV science fiction in my 60 years of watching.

This show is better than Star Wars. I was gutted at the direction Star Wars went starting with the prequels and the truly terrible modern crop of films. The Expanse manages not to insult your intelligence and how it handles the issues of race and gender are leagues better than current media properties. I hope they are able to cover the whole series of books with the the show before it goes off air.

Best show on right now. The Amos/Joey comparison is weird though. Amos literally fixes fusion reactors as his job when he isn't being a complete badass.

The shows adherence to science and physics in space cannot be stated enough. And this fact alone should be enough to entice more people to watch this wonderful show.

You compared Amos to Joey 🤣🤣🤣. Not even close. People think because Amos is big and strong he’s a brute that has no feelings or emotions and he’s quite the opposite

I am halfway through the series and the problem I have with this show is even in the future humans don't learn anything. We are the same old same old humans trying to get by and doing whatever they got to do. Survival of the fittest. There are people with the boot to there necks and others who have there boot to those necks. I'm sick of it! If you want to be uplifted and find hope, forget it. Even deep into the solar system, you are F'ed.
