Union Pacific 844 Cheyenne Frontier Days Train 2013

The 2013 Denver Post Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo Train charging northbound through the Platteville, Colorado "metropolitan area" around 8 am Saturday July 20, 2013 & from the sound of this, I think No One slept in late this Saturday morning.
The Denver post 2014 run sells out today but you can almost always score a one way Sunday ride from Denver to Cheyenne, for tomorrow that's right!

Great vid! 844 looks a bit more neat up front without the mars light. Look's more like how she did when she left ALCo. Reminds me of a photo of a UP FEF-2 on a passenger train near Green River, Wyoming.

It was not original equipment it was installed in 1946 and the 67 year old mounting bracket had deteriorated over the years, so they just took it off.

Many of our members think the U.P. No.844 doesn't look original I guess you could say without the red hazard light up above the headlight. Many of them wonder why the reason they took it off.
