This has been my issue from day one. My short game is good all the way to my 7 iron. Then everything goes down hill from there. Even my Hybrids. So so true. This is an excellent tip. 🙌🏼🙌🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I remember when i took driver for the first time.
Coach said "ppl think they have to swing faster... The club is LONGER. The head will move faster with the same hands speed as 9 iron. Don't force it."

I think it’s because the longer the club the flatter the swing gets (and ams are already too flat). So the attack angles are brutal with long irons in ams.

A Lot of sense.Last time I was out golfing.I used a 3 iron.And I Decided to swing it lightly to make sure I kept the ball in the fairway. And I was amazed at how far it went doing.That right dead center the fairway and a long way down

Trying to hit the ball harder has been my life long problem. For the past 3 months the last thing I have been telling myself before I hit the ball is "I will be grateful if I can make solid contact with the ball."
This way I become more concerned about solid contact than hitting it far which is the key for me.

There are so many secret tips to hitting different irons. Some take a long time to master and others don’t. My favorite trick is “There’s no Ball” I just swing at the ground. The ball is in the way and gets launched.
