3:55 this sentence a great person told me and ever since I make sure to follow it is " jealousy doesn't affect the person you are jealous of but it destroys you"

It’s impossible not to be attracted to elegance! It communicates grace, self-respect, sophistication and that subtle inner power that is just MAGNETIZING. Best part, anyone can learn! And everyone’s style is unique to them. Thank you Jamila 🥰

My family didn't care about being elegant while I was growing up, but I have always looked forward to learning it and I found you. Thank you I really needed such a video.❤️

I didn’t think I was that elegant until I recently found out that I was dubbed “the classy friend” of my friend group because of how I dress & carry myself. I’ve even had lady friends say that they wanted to dress & behave like me! I was shocked 😯 yet quite flattered. I still think I’m a work-in-progress but I’m glad that I’ve made some improvements overtime. & I’ve noticed that older men have been drawn to me lately because I practiced what you listed, & a few men around my age view my elegance as being “the cool yet chill.” It’s interesting.

When it comes to communication, I always get anxious. Please make a video on how to communicate more confidently, especially in a business setting. Your content is extremely helpful 💛

I hope that a lot of young girls will see this video, as it has all the gems in it. The way you speak is important, the way you dress is important, the way you put your makeup on is important, the way you talk, make gestures, smile all are important. This is like a guide for young girls and women in general. We should incorporate as much of these things in our lives.
Thank you Jamila, you are a truly inspiration. ❤

Regarding a signature scent and keeping it private, I’m the exact opposite! I love sharing things I love, including my perfume. I also share recipes with anyone who asks and where I purchased an item of clothing. I feel it’s flattering to be asked. I have trouble understanding people not willing to share anything which isn’t their patented property.

You look lovely in this white dress ma'am! What you said about not feeding them with what they want, like anger, it really hit me. Thank you so much for your videos. I'm turning 20 in a week and I'd love to learn to be a little more graceful and elegant. ❤️

Thank you so much for the video! I am a soft spoken person and I think it’s one of the elegant characteristics of me. However, my former boss once told me that my gentle personality will prevent me from being successful because I am not aggressive… I left that job soon after and I am much happier now and still soft spoken 😊

Hi Jamila,

I’m not sure if you are reading this but I am extremely grateful for this channel. I’m a first generation college bound student and have been seeking many prestigious career and academic opportunities; I’ve realized people in different socio-economic status interact much differently (more articulate and elegantly).

I’m slowly learning how to adapt to this new stimulated environment. I couldn’t have done it without this channel.

You have also inspired me to study International Relations too!

Best wishes,
Erin R. Chim

Agreed with everything! And by the way, in my opinion you did look elegant in those more sporty outfits because they just matched with the environment and vibe. On top of the way you carry yourself, being dressed according to the time, place and occasion is elegance to me.

I’m so excited to finish this. I’m a first time mother and my goodness I barely feel human sometimes. This video came at a perfect time for my sanity!

Jamila, I am a first-gen college student and I have been accepted into a very important internship this summer. I am a very timid and shy individual who tries to hide and is not very good at speaking. I have watched so many of your videos and have practiced thinking and acting more elegantly when I speak to others and attend events. You have helped me a lot so far, thank you!

I'm grateful for this video you've prepared for us, Jamila. Etiquette is something my parents unfortunately couldn't teach to me. I've always wanted to build a great self image and self concept and your channel is showing me the path to becoming the charming, elegant and confident higher self. I appreciate your lessons a lot. Thankyou.

Most videos about elegance I've found were very superficial and based on old rules that don't mean anything to people nowadays. This is the first video about elegance that is actually about self care and being a good person, not making others uncomfortable and avoiding self destructive behaviors. Thank you, Jamila. Your etiquette and elegance videos are always my favorite!

0:38- "And, if you're an old viewer, welcome back! I am delighted to see you here." Thanks, I'm glad to be here again! I've been watching you since your earlier days when you had a fraction of the subscribers you do now. 😁
