FINALLY! A company provides a case that includes a cooling solution, NVMe and PoE+ all in one nice package. NOW there's a proper hobby computer. I booked marked their site and will look into buying one as soon as I can scrape together some money. Thank you for the review.

Thanks for the review. The A and B pins on the connector is a RS-485 port. That is the common way of designate the pins.

10:05 you're quite welcome, haha!

Power over Ethernet (PoE) support 15 Watts. PoE+ support 25 Watts and PoE++ support 50 Watts.

I watch your channel as Raspberry Pi CES now. Everything is amazing.

11:40 = 2 white plugs on the hat board 3 pin power ( GND/5V/GND ) and 4 pin Speaker ( R+/R-/L+/L- )
This is the connector next to the screw that you did not need to remove for the NVME
The 6 pin connector that you attempted to use is for RS485 and RS232
RTC is empty due to shipping regulations ( Its easier without ) but it has a super cap that keeps time for short power downs so grab a CR1220 and your good to go.

The industrial screen I can see them in the big stores with adverts selling products.

What is the difference between a GHz and a GS?
In short, gigahertz (GHz) is a measure of the frequency content that the scope can see, and gigasamples per second (GS/s) is a measure of the digitizing rate of the scope.

The audio output is after amplifier so passive speakers must be ok - just the way you connected must have been wrong.

The touchscreen screen doesn’t seem to work with regular pi5 OS and X11. Only customized edatec image works

Your DidgiKey link for ED IPC3020 is to the non-poe model. I bought the wrong one accidently. I should have checked, but wanted to let you know

This is an interesting fanless case for the pi 5 with nvme. But one thing I think would make it more attractive to end users is external WiFi antennas, though I'm not aware of any passive cases that can house them.

Great Video. Great case. And great socks and shoes at 15'50 🤭 . Thanks

I believe they did an update that you don't have to edit the config file after you replace your boot drive from a microSD to Nvme.

Damn those are truly nice looking cases for the new pi5 probably high price for the build quality

I'm surprised that there isn't an LC/APC fiber connection on the board since it's for industrial applications. Who isn't using fiber in the industrial world?

Digikey purchase links don't seem to work. Aliexpress OK. 14:39 Get a phone disassembly mat to holds screws etc

I've got the same error about insufficient power with my PoE setup too... But everything works fine. So it must be a miscommunication/bug

Config.txt: I installed a Pineberry pi 5 bottom hat with a previously prepared Kingston 512GB SSD and no SD card. It booted from SSD. No need for dtparam=nvme or dtparam=pciex1 in config.txt. I guess a recent EEPROM build removed the need for the dtparam entry. You still need to make an entry if you want PCIe3, and put PCIE_PROBE=1 / boot order 0x16 in rpi-eeprom-config.

Very impressive all round, albeit at quite a price.

Screen looked like it had quite severe light bleed, evident when you first powered it on.
