h= - b/2a Try to convert the quadratic equation to standard equation (of a parabola) or vertex form, & notice the h is not the same if you solve with the given formula. Then try -b/2a. Hope this helps.

In the introduction, it shows that h = -(b/a) but when you try to derive the formula, you will actually get h = -(b/2a). Hope it helps and notice that there is an error in the presentation

example no. 2 (5:43) // diba negative po yung a natin, that's -1, pwede po bang i-multiply ang whole equation ng -1 para maging positive yung a? bali (-1)(-x^2 - 5x + 7) ---> x^2 + 5x - 7 diba, will it still give the same answer? or makakaaffect po ba ito sa parabola?
