Jeez, that hard touchdown.
I felt that in my spine. I wonder how bad the damage was

Nothing like looking out the window of your plane after the landing gear comes through the floor beside you to realize you're climbing again

Looks like the Airbus 350 was demonstrating a V1 engine cut and take-off on one engine as required by the regulations. Seems the rudder deflection shown is needed to keep the plane going straight. Right rudder was needed so the left engine (#1) power was reduced.

An unstick test requires the tail to drag on the runway and modifications are commonly used to minimize damage to the tail.

The caption on the AN-124 shouldn’t have been about it “struggling” to take off, it should’ve been that it was taking off sideways.

An AN-124 did a delivery to Mojave Air & Space Port in the early 2000s, and without another cargo manifested it remained on site for a few weeks. There was no hangar space for it (or the rental was too pricy) so it was parked on the ramp beside the Voyager restaurant. To stay clear of the main taxiway it was snugged up close with the wing *over* the building like a momma bird with its chicks.

I love this channel. It delivers precisely what it says it will with no extraneous fluff!

I've seen landing drifts but not takeoff drifts. That Antonov pilot was chonking on that rudder. Excellent flying.

Every year in January, Brisbane hosts the "Riverfire Festival", an opportunity for people to come into the city for a bunch of outdoor events such as live bands, fireworks and family activities. Part of the festival is a flyby of various miilitary planes that follow the Brisbane River through the central business district. The planes fly in mostly from the nearby Amberley Airbase, located a few dozen kilometres from Brisbane.

An124 struggles to achive positive rate of climb, really? He was heavy in crosswinds during takeoff, to be expected! 😵‍💫

Thanks for showing the AN24, great shot. Still upset over losing the AN25.

All these pilots are now nearly qualified for service at Aerosucre where all these skills and much more will be needed to get airborne and land again every trip. 😂

0:33 Caught on camera is a beautiful illustration of the air leaving the #2 engine.

That landing looked rather smooth, considering the turbulences just before the landing

Those Tail Strikes reminded me so much of my knucklehead Bulldog, Jack Boy as he attempts to "Clear" the last step on the staircase as he comes downstairs! 🤣 My own feeling is he does them on purpose to get a cheap scratch on his bottom because he sorta lingers at the vey end to make it last!😅 Cheers From The Clouds In Ohio To ALL Who Ride This Channel!

Both the Antonov take off and the Lufthansa landing were very good. Especially the Lufthansa one was a pro one. Very smooth despite the difficult conditions

You know it is windy and the pilot has balls of steel when the plane is almost full crab on take off...

I was in Darwin in August 2022 for Operation Pitch Black. They had an air show at Mindill beach and for the finale a (I believe) F18 came from behind everybody. That was such a cool surprise and visual as apparently even the commentators there, didn't know they were coming from that angle. All planes before them came from the right side behind a cliff.
