Composite resin are tooth colored restoration of filling material, they are popularly used in most of the locations in the oral cavity. They are mainly preferred by the patient. Composite resins are made up of resin called Methyl methacrylate, they will be present in one or more form and whenever they are placed into the cavity and exposed to blue color light they start to polymerize. Polymerize in the sense they start to cross linked and becomes hard. There are different kinds of shades available in this composite resin.
