The TFW program should be ended. It's insane how much these crooked employers/companies get away with only hiring people from the third world. I can't believe how all of a sudden the TFW's and "International Students" have token over the food service, retail industries as well as others such as security, Doordash etc.

I knew someone who worked on a Chinese owned farm in bradford through this program. The owner treated all of the migrant workers crap. 12 plus hour days picking bokchoy. Deplorable living conditions. They were treated like slaves.

The TFWP should be ended. Young Canadians used to travel across Canada and camp in their vans to pick fruit etc, there is no reason for that not to still be the norm in Canada.

At least foreign workers are prepared to work for a living, rather than just occupy a job position like many canadians! Oh, and by the way, the UN needs to mind its own F'ing business.

I do not agree with giving temporary workers Permanent Residence Status. We are already giving many people PR including students. The best thing in my opinion is revise the program. If the Feds want to oversee it, make it all Federal, not parse off things to the provinces. But of course the Federal Gov.t is in disarray due to it's lack of leadership. We (all of us) need to take control of situations like this and help others. Lift some of the restrictions, make others more stringent (like what people can expect for housing), treat our fellow man as we would like to be treated. Oh yes, and make the employers pay a living wage, this program is to help the workers and the employers, not let the employers get rich off the backs of others.

Treat agricultural work like any other high demand job. Like nurses, trades, etc. Offer free training, liveable wages, incentives for harder to fill jobs (like how travel nursing works). Pathway to farm ownership of their own. Use Canadians to fill the gap, give them a reason to want to work these jobs. How does the united states handle agriculture labour jobs?

I do not understand how 1.6 million students from India got admission in Canadian universities across the country none of them speak English.

It's in a local restaurant and the service was horrible....I kept thinking with all the unemployment this is the best they vould do? Just hire some keen students.

Let's just start admitting, if we can, we all want easy, well paying, safe, work life balance, maybe at home jobs, but not all jobs are like that. Rich folks, managers, politicians that do a lot of their work by their mouth, should try these jobs.
