The titan motor is a hell ova speed upgrade. I run 1/16 e-revo wheels in the rear with 12mm adapters - they have alot of grip and are the same size as stock wheels.

What a great project! I always wanted to see a grasshopper with the fastest engine brushed version (12 turn titan), do you think the car can withstand long races without breaking gears, or that the gearbox comes off like what happened to your car when you ran brushless 3s? Can I play the grasshopper 10 or 15 times with the motor 12 turns without breaking anything?

The grasshopper can handle 40, 50 miles an hour with the right suspension.

You understand the grasshoppers purpose well. When you put the brushless in it I was thinking the same thing "thats just enough speed to get crazy with the grasshopper and crash". You should check out a 2wd short course 1/10 if you don't want to spend a lot of money on upgrades, want something that can handle crashes with durability, and can handle 25-40mph easy.

That 12T motor exceeds the rating of the Stock ESC. Stock ESC is rated down to 23T.
