The conviction rate is what's important here, if the evidence is airtight they should never make bail

Keep voting for Democrat DA's and this is what you end up with.

Dallas city counselor warned of over crowding at lew street. There is a state jail across the street. Last I heard it empty.

Why didn't you bring this up before the elections. We could've had a new Judge and Attorney General.

But do we have enough space in the jails for all the criminals.

They are accused of murdering three people and they're not charged with first-degree murder... The Bail should be above $2 million, easy...

If this is a republican state, why are they allowing this?

Maybe we should have less focus on petty drug/alcohol charges and other non-violent crime, the kind that bring in the most revenue but clog up the system, and work on getting back to fair and speedy trials instead of waiting well over a year to get cases in a court room. We can't just lock up everyone indefinitely and violate people's rights because of a 20% chance that an accused person might do something else in the future. Somebody has to think about the rights of the accused, and it's not gonna be the police or the people who aren't sitting in jail and automatically believe that everyone who gets arrested is guilty... until it's their turn, of course, and then they sing a different tune. The judges have to try to balance that and they have more of a tendency to act fairly than police or an emotionally charged community is going to.

Recruiting individuals for organized crimes. Theirs a saying if you're doing destruction and doing the devils deeds he'll leave you alone because those are his favorite type of people. But when you're doing right by GOD he'll constantly try to derail you with temptation. Those judges are sad sadistic rich individuals period.
