Here, let me break this down for you average, so you don’t really need to activate the pot thing (I think) but at 1/3 entrances/exits that I found so far in mines is where Timothy can spawn. And sometimes he spawns in between crates, or even in the barrel things. Hope this helps (if you read it of course)

Do y’all genuinely get scared going into mines? Back when I was still a new gtag player, before I got a personal headset. I used to traverse mines in a private lobby, and after learning about ghost that’s still a map I don’t get scared in mines.
