All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

I've come to the conclusion over the past few years that the Danish National Symphony is the movie music orchestra par excellence, almost without peer. Oh and let's never ever overlook the jewel in that crown - the beauty, dramatic verve, and incredible talent that is Tuva!

I have no idea why, but every time I listen to "Riders of Rohan", no matter what, a tear drop from my eyes. Such a masterpiece!!!

Edit 1: People of culture...I see...I see...

There is no doubt that the Tolkien world of music composed by Howard Shore in both the Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings are truly his magnum opus.

Even though I am not a part of our national orchestra, I have an enormous pride in our Orchestra! This is what we (among so many other things) get when we pay our taxes for the common good. Money for many things but so important that we never forget the arts. This is what makes people feel, think and wonder! Out national orchestra truly is one of a kind with their amazing musicians, settings and audio production! <3

Oh my God. As soon as this started I started to cry....and then I cried deeply and then I went someplace. I have had this experience while watching all of the Movies but when I started to listen to this I didn't expect to be so profoundly effected as I am right now. This did something deep within me. The tears won't stop...as I write I am so moved by this I just can't explain it. What just happened. This was unbelievable unexpected and profound.
