*Exactly Lol.* I’m a white belt heavyweight, and I’ve tapped brown belt heavyweights in that exact crouched position. Personally, I think not having hooks in some positions gives you much more stability and options in case they somehow get how.

Locking in a rear naked choke without hooks leaves a lot of room for escapes. If your in this position lock the choke and pull your opponents shoulders to the ground.
