I’ve lived in Washington my whole life and let me tell you... I love the forest and being out in the woods, but there are parts of the forest where the trees feel sick or ominous. It happens suddenly, you’ll feel peaceful walking through the woods and then all at once you feel as if you’re being watched... sometimes I feel like genuinely in the beginning of a horror movie when I’m alone.
Even with that sickening feeling that you get every once and a while- I can’t help but love the trees and being alone in the woods... Washington will always be my home and I couldn’t imagine living somewhere else

When I lived in WA as a kid, I remember teachers discussing Bigfoot sightings in class. There was a whole presentation with pictures, and 'experts' and everything. (Experts ranged from zoologist, and park rangers, to my friend Chelsea's cousin who liked to go hiking and found weird stuff sometimes) it usually included drills on what to do if you saw a bear vs if you saw a cougar

I went to Mariner High, that story started way back. The "winged man" first started over the pool before the microsoft additions. (the photo you used was post microsoft) You could see him in the window over the pool building at night in the left most window from the main entrance side of the building (around the corner to the left of the photo shown.) Not sure if you can still see him there, been about 10 years since i've been around.
