Thom Yorke is an abyss of talent and creativity. Just when I think I know everything he's done, I find more. It's unbelievable.

Thom Yorke is the answer to "what would they be doing now?" For instance, John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, etc. Him and only a few others survived the 90's. And most of my favorite musicians are dead. So stay alive Thom. And keep making great music so I don't have to ask, "I wonder what kind of music Thom Yorke or Radiohead would be playing today."

A band with Thom Yorke on vocals and Flea on the bass?! I couldn't believe how interesting the combo let alone the actual music sounded. I'm in love with this band now.

The man is an absolute genius.

"Look out of the window
What is passing you by.
If you really want this bad enough
You’re young and good looking
The keys to the kingdom
Sooner or later (x3)
And before your very eyes (x3)
Old soul on young shoulders
How you’ll look when you’re older
Time's fickle card game with you and I
You have to take your chances
The book of forgiveness
Sooner or later (x3)
And before your very eyes (x3)"

Seeing Thom Yorke's cracked skull pop out, singing at me, is probably one of the creepiest things I've seen this year. O___o Good job!

I met a traveller from an antique land,
Who said "two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert, near them on the sand
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies whose frown
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamp'd on these lifeless things
Of the hand that mocked them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear
'My name is Thom Yorke King of Limbs
Look on my works ye mighty and despair!"
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of YouTube videos boundless and bare
My lone and level hand keeps pressing 'Play'.

Fun fact: In order to get that jittery, stop-motion effect on Thom he had to sing this song SLOWED DOWN half-speed (12 minutes) & then the footage got sped up to the song's length.

fun fact, thom yorke had to crack his skull open and lay in an animated flowing desert to get this shot. he did it first try. what a legend

this video is amazing. this song cuts deep. I sit alone in solitude, vicariously living my life through the screen, watching the journalists document the world destroying itself. And watching this world pass me by as if I'm the statue.

The more I listen to this track the better it gets. And the video is just a perfect match.

Any and every project he's attached to is magic. His voice is vibrational alignment. True genius, just flows out of him at every turn. Such a gift to humanity.

Every frame of this video is a fucking visual masterpiece. Try it. Pause it at any time and see it before your very eyes.

Assuming this was recorded at 25fps, you are consuming approximately 8, 700 pieces of art, and of course an amazing song, everything in under 6 minutes.

Thom Yorke is that person who has made music for so much time that has transcended to another level of making music...

Have only just come across this but Thom Yorke's vocal's are so distinctive, as is Flea's sound, made perfect sense when I discovered this is the them. The lyrics are just truth.

Remember the line "A ten ton head made of wet sand
on this dread circumference" from Decks Dark? Now I'm pretty sure it references this song.

First time I heard this song was in a trip to Belgrade back in 2017. An amazing trip via train from Greece to Serbia. We were a group of friends consisting of 2 girls and 3 guys. We have met one year before at the university and I ll never forget this times neither this trip. We were having the best time of our lives so far at the best age of ours. I was in love with one of the girls but she was playing me. It was the last night of the trip and we were having some beers at a pub. I remember I was stoned and drunk and kinda sad because I kept wondering wth she keeps treating me like that. Everyone else was enjoying the conversation at that time but I had this fuzz inside my head, the kind of fuzz when you can hear everything and nothing at the same time and I couldn't let a single word out of me. Then suddenly this song came on and for a moment I found peace inside. I was sure this was Thom's voice but I knew this wasn't Radiohead and that made me wonder. I quickly rushed to the barman to ask the name of it and he told me and I was really happy with that. I never heard of Atoms For Peace till that time. The other 4 members of our company noticed me getting up quickly and asked me what happened. I told them I really liked the song and I wanted to know the name of it. They gave me that look like "we believe you but there's smth you ain't telling us" . They were fuvking right. I wanted so bad to kiss her and I knew this wasn't possible at that time so I had the need to run away. Despite that, I discovered atoms for peace and I couldn't be more thankful to that barman that night. But still, every time I listen to this song I will remember her and that amazing trip and how awesome I felt at that age of mine. I know we haven't talked in years and the last time we spoke I talked really bad to you because of your behaviour towards me at that times but I want you to know I will always have a crush on you no matter what because I ll never be the same person I was before your very eyes.

In case anyone doesn't know the origin of the band name, I just thought this was interesting: "In 1953 President Eisenhower proposed his 'Atoms for Peace' program, which reoriented significant research effort towards electricity generation and set the course for civil nuclear energy development in the USA." It was essentially an attempt to direct nuclear physics research toward generating power instead of building bombs.
