A problem with your description of Franz Ferdinand's death. It wasn't a miscommunication with the driver to turn around, the driver was actually one of his personal chauffeur's. In fact the Archduke went on to give a speech at the town hall afterward before even deciding to go visit the wounded soldiers but the hospital was off the planned route and his driver didn't know his way around Sarajevo so they had the mayor lead the cavalcade but he made a wrong turn and the archduke's driver blindly followed which led to that fateful deli death.
