The funny thing about this is if you get the relatively inexpensive "Always Welcome" aspiration reward trait... you don't need to live in the walls. Always Welcome disables the "This is inappropriate. Please stop." mechanic for your sim. Then you can just visit someone's house indefinitely and ignore your bills. Your power and water will be shut off, but you won't be living at your home lot anyway and the repo people will never been seen and may not even take anything from your home lot if you never visit your home lot. To avoid starting at your home lot when you begin a new play session, just select another lot, click on the car button, then choose to travel to that lot with your freeloader sim. lol

Of course I do wonder if the more sadistic players or players with grudges against particular sims will prefer using ISP's technique while allowing the other sims living on the lot to possibly die off slowly because they can't pay bills autonomously. I think the other sims may die like this because it appears that repo people still take essential furniture from them despite what I may have heard of the developers' efforts to avoid that. I don't know if repo people will take refrigerators or grills as I haven't seen the extent of repossession, but they very well may. I'll admit that when I've lovingly edited this comment, I've also been too lazy to look things up, but in any case, as long as you keep your area of the house inaccessible to the repo people, you might be safe from repo people. I say "might" because I don't know what hidden powers repo people may have such as walking through walls and teleportation. lol If all else fails, there's always the Call Me Kevin approach. lol Lilsimsie has done some pretty dastardly things to sims as well. lol

Back in the Sims 3 there was actually a fake shelf door. That was one of my go-to furniture items.

I noticed when I played this game way back that no, NPC sims don't ever seem to go to bed or keep any kind of coherent schedule when you're over at their place. Which is odd considering they did in The Sims 3... and odder still considering this game has been out 8 bloody years since I first noticed it!

I watched a video on yt of some art students living in closet of a shopping mall. One guy accidentally found it and with help of his friends managed to smuggle coach, some furniture, tv and game console inside it. Staff literally did not know/care about the existence of this room. They were found only many years later and judge in court actually let them go despite obvious trespasses charges.
