My brother has a X and I have a IX. Way different machines. 9 feels more track focused and go-cart feeling were the X handles beautifully and is much more livable on a daily bases.

Not sure if it is for you but big turbo is not great for daily. Ultimate daily Evo X setup recipe: FP Red turbo, supportive mods, and exedy twin = reliable, fun on the street. With this setup was running high 11s quarter, 450 mustang wheel, E85 only for 6 six years, monster around the track, Sold it at 88k miles still drove like the day i got it. Current owner still enjoys the car.

Xs are beasts for sure! With only ~9K miles, i'd be tempted to keep it totally bone stock.

Just purchased an X in the UK with 19k miles. Took a gamble as its an SST and needs a new clutch pack. The dealers is having it re-built costing £4k, but everything else is fine. Picking it up in a couple of weeks 👌

Crazy. Found my 2011 GSR back in October from an older asian gentleman as well. Only owner, bone stock, 30k miles, SS package, immaculate color. Loving it so far. Congrats to you as well.

When I first wanted to get into the evo gang, I actually wanted a 9, but couldn't find one, so i found this sick apex evo x with 17k on the dash for $26k i had to get it...almost 7 years later and it's still going strong, and now i glad i got the X and not a 9

I've had both Evo 9 and X. Similar situation my 9 had lots of issues and I ended up buying a brand new X in 2014 and have had it ever since with no issues what so ever.

Nice job getting an evo x bro...I got mine 2 years ago and she pushing 491 whp on precision 6466 turbo. I lowered it with KW and have tons of MAPerformance stuff on it...when my turbo spools with HKS bov that shit SCREAMING SO LOUD LOL...well how loud you ask me?!! So loud that cop aka pigs gave me a ticket thinking that is my tomei muffler 😅🤪🤪🤪🤪but yeah....we have the same color interior and exterior 😀both 2012 with recaro seats 👍I’m loving it....and you’ll love it too soon after you mod it...BTW for those who called evo x not a real evo is ONLY poor peoples who can’t get one but dreaming big one day they’ll own an Evo 🤪😂😂😂😂

I love the 8/9. Wanted one over the X but couldn’t bc financing older cars. But I’m glad I got the X. And I’ve survived 5 years of hate from 8/9s saying it’s not strong and blah blah. But I’ve been at 650hp with stock block for 2 years with no issues. Think that proves it’s as strong as the 8/9.

Evo 10s are now becoming harder to buy because ppl are realizing that these cars are beasts. I dont let the internet influence my decision, I bought the X 2 years ago and I had no idea that the 9 and 8 were more sought after, couldnt care less since I love my X alot more than the sti I had and I personally think it is a beautiful car. Overall enjoy the car, ppl who get them never hate it usually the internet does lol.

The only thing pathetic is that you've never heard of Rockford Fosgate! It's only been one of the top 5 Stereo speaker brands for the past 25+ years! Harman Kardan & JBL are basically the same. Like Lexus to Toyota. But anyone who's ever wanted their shit to hit hard, goes straight to a Fosgate Power Punch or a Kicker.
Not knowing Rockford Fosgate in the Car world is like not knowing LeBron in the Sports world!
