Meanwhile my cheap "2021" MTB has some characteristics of old ones
A 3x9 clutchless drivetrain, 80mm straight stemm that's pretty high, 2.1" tyres...
And the best thing is that despite it having some cables run internally, it's not possible to fit an internal routing dropper on it without drilling.
I think I bought a mislabeled ATB, should've gone for the slightly cheaper Cube Aim SL lol

It's kinda hard for me considering i started mtb on around that year so i feel so much better on 66 or 67 hta. Till this day i can't use the modern day 64 hta
