I just recently purchased the Helix for both the Studio & Stage and have had absolutely fantastic results. The first 9-10 units coming into New Zealand were sold in 5 days and I was fortunate enough to get one. One of my friends has an Axe FX and is now getting the Helix after hearing it and playing through it. Like anything else in this world it always comes down to personal taste but I myself am seriously enjoying this fine piece oof musical genius and take my hat off to Line6 on a job well done.

I own the Helix. It s a terrific guitar effects processor. No complaints @ 1500 dollars. There s a lot to learn though with the Helix. It s definitely not a one day and "I got it" piece of gear.

This thing is great, when I want my analog pedal board, boom! When I want the unit alone, cool! When I want Valve, I cut off the map model and run through Amp. I play modern stuff, and old school. This unit covers it all. Fractal is amazing, I chose Helix for simplicity. Plus I can see the screen.

El problema que tiene la helix es que no puedo conectar vía XLR porque si el phanton power de la mixer está activado genera ruidos, en mi pedalera, como se corrige ese problema, estoy decepcionado, de un aparato tan caro, que de ese problema...veo que estas conectado XLR, 1/4...como puedo arregle ésto

Why were you hissing with feedback on a solid state with a noise gate... Then rolled volume as fast as possible to avoid it, could it be dialed out or am I gonna really utilize that expression pedal

Guys is this better than the hd500x in terms of realism of the sound? the 500x i got sounds pretty good so im guessing that this is at least 5 times better/realistic. Anyone that got the chance to test them both?

You know I love this machine BUT "it still sounds like a Model!" and not like a true valve Amp!!! DO NOT BE FOOLED, todays technology and really has been for years now - totally allows for us to replace the Valve/Analog with a digital system that will do every bit as great "ISSUE IS" most MAJOR MANUFACTURES, want to dazzel you with a great image and tons of features but yet completely roll back on the SOUND QUALITY; so they can sell you the upgrade later!

I know of a digital processor that sounds every bit of the actual Valve Amps ETC, blind shoot out - you will not be able to tell the difference PERIOD but it comes from a BOUTIQUE MANUFACTURE AND NOT A MAJOR one.

Everybody is playing catch up with Fractal Audio AXE FX II. They are nowhere even close. This is typical video of Hyperbole by Line 6 and other competitors. Even the TC G system is now just a toy. Forget all this Line 6 stuff go get an AXE FX II or the new AX8 if you want a simpler system for road use. The sounds that this guy was getting on this video were really horrible. Sorry but no cigar Line 6 fails again as it always has done in the past. Line 6 has done more to ruin guitar sounds than any company in guitar history.
