NASA's On BIG Plans To Bring Back Starliner's Astronauts! Dragon to help...
In the vast darkness of space, a capsule remains stranded in low Earth orbit. No one knows how to bring it back, while astronauts are stuck on the International Space Station. This is the situation that the Starliner astronauts are facing, a terrifying scenario like something out of a Hollywood science fiction movie, but it is the reality before us.
After too many technical issues, NASA realized that they needed a different solution to rescue their astronauts.
So, what is the current status of the Starliner? NASA has finally decided to choose SpaceX's Dragon to rescue...?
Let’s find out on today’s episode of Alpha Tech:
NASA's On BIG Plans To Bring Back Starliner's Astronauts! Dragon to help...
The cursed spacecraft—Starliner—seems to be getting worse. In fact, as we mentioned in our previous reports, NASA and Boeing officials were initially reluctant, even refusing, to use SpaceX's Dragon to rescue the astronauts Starliner sent to the ISS. They believed Starliner could safely return in any emergency situation. However, a recent action by NASA has dispelled this notion. NASA is indeed concerned about Starliner!
Although we don’t know many details, it can be accurately speculated that NASA is exploring whether Crew Dragon can be quickly launched in an emergency.
NASA's On BIG Plans To Bring Back Starliner's Astronauts! Dragon to help...
The results of this study will be very interesting. SpaceX may need to prepare for emergencies by:
1. Prioritizing the use of Dragon spacecraft and nearly refurbished Falcon 9 boosters.
2. Quickly converting scheduled missions to emergency mode, which could delay other missions.
3. Always keep an empty Dragon spacecraft and a fueled Falcon 9 booster ready at the launch pad.
I do not mean to suggest that there is definitely a problem with Starliner, but it is a possibility, and what NASA has tasked SpaceX with is a contingency plan to avoid astronauts being stranded on the space station in the future.

In addition to NASA's latest move, Boeing engineers have also announced the completion of tests on the backup thrusters on the surface to identify the cause of the incident.

Boeing should no longer be concidered for NASA contracts unless they can update their production technology and bring it into the 21st century.

Use SpaceX to bring home the astronaut safely and then bring home the capsule and if it burns up, then you did the right thing.

There isn’t a problem with Starliner, there are MANY Problems with Starliner, I wouldn’t Trust those in management of the Starliner unless Stitch and co took a Ride up on a Dragon to bring Starliner back at no risk to the two trained Astronauts. It’s too easy for them to lie from their office Chairs. Fly them up and get them to prove that their craft is Safe enough to return …

Reminds me of Gillian Island on a 3 hour tour😁

Click bait! NO commitment to bring back the two astronauts. Stop or I will unsubscribe.

I am a space nut. I am a material science nut. These Astronauts have no business flying a severely dimisnished capsule home. Let it come down with piss bottles and trash!😊

I'm baffled why Boeing (and even NASA insisting) to do several runs with cargo instead of people. Isn't that what SpaceX did? We're Boeing and NASA so arrogant to think we can do better?

The two astronauts should refuse to come back on the Starliner..

Undock the Space liner unmanned and point that POS towards the Sun and Send
Problem solved!
At this point it would be way more cost effective and easier to start over.
Your welcome 😁

NASA may be able to bring Strainer back to earth, but the question is how deep.

The NASA astronauts will be eligible for Social Security retirement benefits before NASA will bring them home... 😮😮😮

They have been up there so long I almost forgot about them. Someone is lying.

Just do what must be done. If that means SpaceX, so be it; egos and embarrassment aside.

NASA needs to dump Boeing and hire SpaceX from now on. Boeing can't even keep the doors on their jets.

What a load of rubbish!!! I'm a fork lift operator and I think I have a better idea of how to sort this problem out than the procrastinating, overpaid idiots at Boeing/ naDa!

Boeing replicated the issue with the thrusters on the ground recently. I know you said you aren't suggesting that there's a problem with Starliner, but obviously there is a problem with Starliner judging from the results of the Boeing thruster tests. The nozzles are clogged and they can replicate the situation that lead to them clogging. Can they be cleared in space? Who knows. But if they could, I'm sure they would have tried that already. Maybe they don't have the fuel to try to clear them. But I'm sure if the thruster nozzles need to be replaced, it's cheaper to just let Starliner burn up in orbit and download the astronauts via Dragon or Soyuz.
