2014 Nissan Juke Nismo: #10 Speedy Race Track Review

No offense, but I don't think this person knows how to drive. I have a 2014 Nissan Juke Nismo (albeit it's a 6-speed manual) which I've only been driving for two weeks. Last weekend I had the chance to take it on back country roads (very curvy with some ups and downs) and it went from 0 to 100 mph in SECONDS; plus, it didn't even feel like I was going that fast - I easily could have gone faster but didn't feel like going to jail if I got pulled over for speeding. This car handles like a DREAM around corners, amazingly keeping all four wheels on the ground even taking a 30 mph corner at 60 mph (much to my husband's horror as he was in the passenger seat). I've been driving on tracks since the late 1980s and this car is absolutely, hands-down, the BEST I've ever driven, far surpassing, just for one, the Honda Civic SI. Not sure how he could have gotten this so wrong.

This guy probably did not have the AWD Vectoring on. The Juke feels like its on a rail when its on. He should have also had it on manual shifting and let the trans shift. He had/has no clue how to drive a Juke.

ok, i wanted to comment on the review.  i did but im left with this.

the biggest problem with that car, wasnt the car, it was the driver.  your hands, follow your eyes, not the other way around.  i can see you staring at apex's every time you enter one. thats WRONG.  you look ahead at your exit point, let your hand follow.  THATS the reason the tires were working so hard, your line was wrong.

Couple of things here Roman. First, lose the dirt bike helmet and get a car racing helmet, you look like a total noob. And second, that organization is way too strict. 10 minutes off if you go 2 off?!? I've been doing track days since the early 2000s and I've never heard of a rule like that.

Thanks for watching and yes the helmet has to go. Keep in mind that these are not our cars so if we put one into a wall the manufactures lose. That's why the rules are so strict.

I can't recall seeing many male Juke drivers in the states either. Its a vehicle that just doesn't make sense to me. Why buy a CUV that has no room in it and can't haul anything?

I dont think this guy know how to drive, is a cuv off cuz is tall, and the juke is not design for track, and hes driving a front wheel drive Nismo not the AWD, that a huge different.

Horrid looking bloody thing, when there are so many good looking cars made here.

Hopefully when they bring out the Juke Nismo RS they lower than thing by another 2 inches or so that way its center of gravity isn't too high

Thanks for the comment. We had two cameras on the car and both died. The next 9 race track reviews have lot less video of Roman and more of the road.

I like the exterior look of the Juke but they made it too short. The backseat area needs at least another 6 inches for leg room. If they had made it longer, kept the same shape, and added a somewhat larger/powerful engine I think they'd sell more. The Juke has its own unique look and many cars lack that.
