Jose is a amazing employee. And i cant even trust mine to walk through a maintenance yard without breaking a bubbler. On almost every job site. Than my other employee put a mikita on 10k brick seats. And when he plugged it in and put a nice 3 foot cut through my completed seats. Ohhh and my other employee didnt marriage the turf right. So i had the great honer of going to that site pulling all the turf up and redoing it. Than my last employee used my truck and trailer, while on vaction, used my gas lost some of my tools and filled my trailer with 2000 pounds of side jobs. Than quit. While i fired the rest of them. Now im working by myself

At least give him a bonus, I don’t know what he gets paid but if there is room for a raise just take that into consideration.

You get more of what you reward and less of what you punish.
If you give him a bonus he’ll probably end up double checking more stuff next time this catching more mistakes before it’s to late.
