Midline Trick using IPR and Invisalign - Paulson Orthodontics

This is a small trick that can be used in some cases where there is already a good posterior occlusion or class 1 bite and the midline is still off.

By doing ipr for midline correction, does it shorten the overall arch or do the teeth shift over along the arch wire

Hi doctor! I have like a jaw slightly more to the right + bottom teeth crowding, and so my dentist is suggesting correcting my midline and crowding by shifting the teeth using Invisalign (since I don't really want to have surgery on my jaw) and removing my bottom wisdom teeth to give the teeth space to move. Is this a standard kind of procedure for something like this?

Hi! My son has a crossbite (mild posterior one - about 3 mm) and our orthodontist wants to use rubber bands on his Invisalign aligners to correct it. The problem is he has a perfect upper midline and the bands will shift it off center. I really don't want to do this! What other ideas/options are there? He is about 5 months into treatment (total time is 18-24 months).

Hello, I opted out of IPR for my treatment. My orthodontist said there would be some imperfections. I basically wanted the best teeth I can have while having the original size of my teeth. In addition to what my orthodontist said, are there other things I should be wary of?

What is your thoughts on smile direct club? I have a slight midline misalignment, and my two top canine teeth are right over my two bottom canine teeth versus right in between the canine in the back to how it should be. Would SmileDirectClub Invisalign be able to fix this?

I got my braces 8 months ago then my ortho remove my first premolar only so I got mid line shifted
Now the orthodontist doesn't care about opinion well and he doesn't even listen
My chewing also change😭 upper teeth ending landed in the middle of lower teeth it's so painful 😖😖😣😣😣

In a crossbite, is it possible for the midline on the UPPER jaw to be shifted/moved to the left or right in order to align it with the midline of the lower jaw? Or does the lower always move to match the upper?
