Strange, when I finally started to really study scripture it destroyed my once saved always saved evangelical theology. Two years after I really started to study scripture and church history I am now Catholic.

I was protestant almost all of my life. I understand now that protestantism is fallacious and fails to uphold the unity of Christian Doctrine. We need the church to understand the scripture, otherwise you end up with thousands of denominations that don't agree with each other.

And God's miracles follow the Catholic Church, there is no denying that, e.g. Fatima 1917.

I’m not a catholic, I went to a Orthodox Church today

Regardless of what sect you follow unless we all agree it’s outside of the Bible I love my brothers and sisters in christ

" the bible was written by Catholics for Catholics" please show me where the Apostles identified themselves or their fellow believers as Catholics. They were not Catholics they were Jews, Christians, followers of the way, nazarenes but never called Catholics.

The Bible is not a Catholic book, if you want to be brutally honest it’s a Jewish book, written by Jewish men, the whole Old Testament and even the gospels and epistles all written by Jewish men with their roots in Judaism. And just cause you canonized something in 382 doesn’t mean that the early Christians didn’t already affirm all the books as scripture. 2 Peter 3:16. And realistically it’s meant for Christians as the Bible calls followers of Christ Christians or the term that Jesus wanted his followers to be called disciples. Acts 11:25-26👍

It seems obvious that this girl is being misled and deceived by someone who is not Catholic, and because this girl is unlearned about the Catholic Church she is so easy pickings for Protestant followers to persuade her that she’s in the wrong and that the Catholic Church is deceiving her.Now this nothing new to me because I’ve seen my own family members plus friends all get HOOKED BY THESE PROTESTANTS WHO CONVINCES THEM TO LEAVE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, now when I ponder or think about this from time to time I seem to be led to of what Saint Paul had said in his epistles and goes something like this NOT ALL WHO SEEK HAVE FAITH.So this saying of sain Paul always comes to my mind when I hear of Catholics who leave the church, thank you catholic brother Alex for another enlightening video.May the All Powerful And Glorious Invincible Holy Trinity support bless and protect you and your works Amen 🙏 🐑🕊️✨🔥

Hello VoiceOfReason_,

I’ve got to say, your videos have really gotten me interested in exploring Catholicism. I’m fascinated by the differences between Protestant and Catholic beliefs. I don’t know too much about Orthodox Christianity, so I’ll hold off on commenting there, but I grew up in a Baptist church, where baptism is something you do when you’re ready to proclaim your faith—when you can make that choice for yourself. Personally, I think it’s fine to get baptized at any age, young or old.

Besides that, I know Protestants generally believe in Sola Scriptura, which, as I understand it, means relying on Scripture alone to understand God’s will. For this next part, please correct me If I’m wrong! On the other hand, I know Catholics value tradition, which makes sense to me. I mean, heck, Jesus did give us prayers and practices to carry on. Also, I’ve heard about something called the Magisterium, which, if I understand correctly, provides official interpretations of Scripture with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. That kind of adds up because God does promise to give us the right words when we need them.

I find it really interesting how these different branches or interpretations approach faith. I’ve noticed that sometimes Protestant churches can struggle with leadership issues due to certain choices, but then again, that happens in Catholic settings too—since we’re all human, of course. It just seems like both sides have a lot to offer and bring good points to the table, and I’m starting to see how they each hold up in their own ways.

The Apostles weren't Catholic. They were early Christians.

Me personally, i think if you are truly saved then your good, but Jesus said you would be able to determine the quality of a tree by its fruits, and wasnt same sex marriage ordained in the catholic church and also the pope said “all religions are paths to God” in a forum. I agree the catholic church was first founded but that doesnt mean it is the way to go 2000 years later. If there is a store selling food, and its food ya know, but then later on a new store opens up and it sells food also but the old store’s fruit starts lowering in quality, id go to the new store 😅

I appreciate the idea and sentiment. But she’s young (seems maybe 17-18 years old. I said I would die on some hills at that age that I would not get near at my age today). Yes she is old enough to form her own opinions (and to be challenged by them, especially if she’s making assumptions and making videos). But there is an ignorant mother, father, pastor, or leader somewhere that led her this way. We gotta punch up, not down lol again, idk how old she is. But I appreciate the loving and graceful teaching anyhow. WE ARE BROTHERS AND SISTERS! (saying this with grace and love, just good for thought)

Exodus 20:8-11 KJVS
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. [9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: [10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: [11] For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

I am a Lutheran and the only issue I have with catholic practices is purgatory and the church having more authority than the Bible
