The thing that makes this so scary is that the video establishes rules and then breaks them a bit later. It makes it look like the monster needs the boy to open the window, only to just break it down. We see it go after a child and assume that it can only hunt children, and then we see it snatch a grown woman.

The way the monster bit the child's neck, not killing him but wounding him greatly, then coming back to pull him away was very realistic and animal-like. Very disturbing.

The way the child tried to crawl away after the first initial bite to the back of the neck was just heartbreaking due to the detail. You truly believe that he couldn’t even scream for help it all happened so fast and hurt him so bad on the first bite. Great work. Harsh to watch but great work.

It was scary until 0:51. The way it floated into the window and snatched the woman reminded me of how Shrek floats in 'Shrek is love, Shrek is life' 😂

I thought I was immune to horror movies, but this video really got me
The way it breaks the vampire rule, the child killing rule, the unexpected taking of the parent, all of it made it feel ... weirdly real because movie tropes were non existent

I think the monster is a stylized iteration of a vampire. There is a myth that vampires cannot enter a home unless they are invited in by its inhabitant. The vampire tricks the boy into inviting him in, as shown by his use of the toy. As soon as the boy nods in approval, the vampire succeeds. No longer needing the bait, the vampire tosses it aside, and his demeanor changes. He goes from friendly to hostile, evident by his now menacing grin and towering posture. He can now enter, and instinctively aims to bite the boy's neck. This is commonly known vampire behavior. Also, the entity has a pale complexion, as well as the ability to fly, which are vampiric characteristics.
